Cows and Wows!

There's nowhere else in the East where you can see laser-guided robots milking cows! You won't believe your eyes. Hope Acres was one of the first fully robotic dairies in the United States and is one of the rare few that opens it doors — barn doors, that is! — to the visiting public.

All tours include a 75-minute trip into the barns where you actually see, hear, smell and touch our gentle herd of Jersey-breed cows. Domestic dairy cows are special and require an enormous commitment of time and care. So see how we pamper our herd with waterbeds, mechanical back-scratchers, a climate-controlled barn, "cookies" and floor sweepers!

But it doesn't stop there. Learn about the technology used to monitor and manage each cow and the entire herd. Then enter the functioning robotic milking stations. See it happen right before your eyes.
